A pedagogical approach is a broad description of how a specific pedagogical philosophy can be implemented in some teaching and learning contexts for the achievement of some target types of learning outcomes. Examples of pedagogical approaches include problem-based learning, scenario-based learning, self-directed learning. While a pedagogical approach may not specific a set sequence of learning tasks, there are generally some recognizable characteristic features and flow in the learning sequence associated.
